Biomechanical Pain

If your feet don't work right, you hurt ALL over. Remember the old song, "the foot bone's connected to the shin bone, the shin bone's connected to the thigh bone...all the way up to the neck bone.

Well, your trick knee, your back pain or that crick in your neck may come from abnormal foot biomechanics, and you may not even experience any foot pain. When your arches "fall," your knees "knock," your disks "slip," your shoulders "slump."

At Foot Support we specialize in biomechanics, a branch of medical science dealing with human motion and posture, and we can evaluate you from head to toe, both dynamically (when you're moving), and statically (when you're at rest).

Some of the mechanisms observed during this type of examination, if abnormal, are a very important aspect of your treatment.  The prescription of a functional foot orthotic helps normalize your movement and relieve the pain in your aching muscles and bones.
